A Piece Of The Pie

The wealthiest 1 percent of families own 35% of the nation’s net worth, the top 10% of families owns over 71%, and the bottom 40% of the population owns less less than 1%. The bottom 60% of households possess only 4% of the nation’s wealth while earning 27% of all income.

Since the days of Ronald Reagan, a larger and larger share of the pie that once went to the middle and lower class has gone to a tiny elite group of the super rich. George Bush decided to give them even more, and look where that got us. Obama is not asking them to give up their piece of the pie, he’s asking them to give back our piece of the pie that Bush handed to them… which will return us to the same tax situation that existed under Reagan and Clinton. I guess America was a Socialist nation all through the 1980’s and 90’s?!? Jesus Christ, this is asking the CEO to only buy the 110-foot yacht this year instead of the 120-footer, and these idiots twist it into “Oh, no, the working class is going to have to cut back even further!” It’s the working class who are going to benefit, you fucking morons… and the Tax Policy Center confirms that.

I am so sick of the stupidity and lies. That meal at the Waldorf? Never happened. Michelle Obama wasn’t even there.

But I didn’t need Snopes to tell me that. Look at the prices…whole numbers…and a bottle of Bollinger’s for $44? At a hotel? Look at the two signatures on the receipt. Identical. And Iranian caviar? Nice touch, douche bags. Ask yourself, who would go through the trouble of creating a fake receipt to back up a fake story just to make a candidate’s wife look bad? I said it before…the Republicans put out professional propaganda because they count on their supporters not being able to tell fact from fantasy. Go ahead and vote for someone who thinks you’re stupid and plans to keep taking your money and lying to you. That’s worked out real swell thus far.
